Smile for the Camera

Hailing from New Jersey, Smile for the Camera is the solo metalcore project of Corey “MATRIXX”. Corey produced several pop, hip-hop, and R&B songs for artists such as LAW and Kxlly before pursuing his own passion, which has always been metal. Utilizing the skills from working in other genres, “Sinking”, Smile for the Camera’s debut single, blends metalcore, EDM, and modern hip-hop. Featuring Irish rapper Immute, the song has a massive hook and a build-up that is sure to get people moshing. “Sinking” was mixed by Joel Wanasek (Co-founder of URM Academy, Ice Nine Kills, Skillet) and mastered by Joe LaPorta (Skillet, Ghost, Bon Jovi).
